Research Paper Discussing Cybersecurity Policies and International Relations: The Case of the US and Iran
Defense departments are increasingly paying attention to cybersecurity. Ryan's paper takes two very different players in cybersecurity—the US and Iran—and outlines their general approaches, finds areas of potential conflict, and explores potential policy proposals to avoid confrontation in the future. In this sense, his paper makes a wider contribution to the many ways in which states are pursuing cyber goals today. It also contributes to the discussion of how even non-allied states might work together in this sphere.
Ryan submitted his paper to The Concord Review where it is currently under review.Read his paper
