Summary
Yardena's project was created to bring awareness to policymakers and the public about the harmful impacts that invasive species have on our planet. She chose to specifically research the effects iguanas have had on South Florida. Through her research, she highlights the damage they are doing not only to the environment and economy, but also to our infrastructure. The end product of her project was a review paper, which calls attention to these issues as the threat of these invasive species continues to increase.
