Determining why the United States is not a cricketing superpower and showing how it can become one.

Project by Polygence alum Aditya

Determining why the United States is not a cricketing superpower and showing how it can become one.

Project's result

Furthered the research on cricket in the United States, helped consolidate ideas on cricket in the United, helped small clubs in Fremont, California grow cricket as a sport.

They started it from zero. Are you ready to level up with us?

Summary

I will write a peer-reviewed research paper on this topic, considering both viewpoints. It will include a brief description of cricket, a description of the metrics, a description of the problems, a description of the possible strengths, and a method to solve each weakness. Each metric will be shown in comparison to affecting performance on the graph and in the reasoning, and performance will be a metric of itself too. Cricket is a sport that is globally played by a large majority of people, the second most popular sport. Despite the US having vast natural resources and recognizable talent, it is still not a cricketing superpower. This paper will determine why and what it can do to change that.

Project review

“This project was very enjoyable, and my mentor was super flexible with my time tables and schedules. Had it not been for the flexibility, this project would not have turned out the way it did. I am super happy with both my result and the guidance my mentor gave me.”

About my mentor

“My mentor was very flexible, which helped me out a lot. He was rather knowledgeable and was able to guide me despite not knowing about my topic directly. He was super helpful and enjoyable to deal with.”
