The Formation, Growth, and Evolution of Supermassive Black Holes Across Cosmic Time
Project by Polygence alum Sarang
Project's result
The outcome of my project is a useful and in depth resource of black holes and their whole lifetimes across cosmic time.
They started it from zero. Are you ready to level up with us?
Summary
Sarang is working on the compilation of a review at the high school to undergraduate level describing the formation, growth, and evolution of cosmic supermassive black holes. Using a combination of published popular science books by astronomers and physicists, actual published scientific papers, and the expertise of their mentor, Sarang is assembling a conceptual and theoretical framework for both the physics of theoretical black holes along with the current understanding of the way black holes form and grow over time (in step with their host galaxies). By the end, Sarang hopes to create resources useful to interested students, e.g., his astronomy club.
