Summary

Dance is a form of art presented by the movement of the body. Some dance to music while others don't. Regardless of the music, dance can be identified as 'therapy'. The mind-to-body coordination brings life to the piece. It brings peace to one's mind and well-being. However, is it considered a type of psychotherapy? Although dance may be uncommon amongst most, it's still heard of. Yet what isn't heard of is how it can heal one's mental state. It's unheard of due to how social media portrays it. It can be known as competitive, fierce, and energetic. Though, the slow and calm side has been ignored. Dance may not work for all, but it's worth a try.
