Bio

I am passionate about the fields of education and psychology. My dissertation focused on parenting styles and children's psychological adjustment among Chinese American immigrant families. I currently work as a psychology intern (soon to be postdoc!) in a children's hospital. My clinical work and research focuses on culturally sensitive interventions for children and families in hospital settings.

Project ideas

Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.

Adapting evidence-based psychology interventions for diverse families

Explores existing evidence-based psychological interventions, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, and how they can be adapted to be more culturally sensitive and responsive to family values.
