Bioremediation: the removal of desired contaminants from polluted soil
Bioremediation of soil is a process that utilizes the metabolic versatility of microorganisms to clean up hazard pollutants. It is hypothesized that plants, bacteria, and algae can be used to remediate soil on college campuses. Specifically, metals and organic pollutants found in samples of the soil on University grounds.
