What Opportunities are Needed to Aid in the Success of Minority Students
It is no secret there exist a gap between white and black students as it relates to achievement. However, research continues to show that Black students have the ability to reach the same potential as white students given the right opportunity. This research project seeks to interview students who deem themselves successful to understand what opportunities led to their success. The goal is to create a list of recommendations to give to high schools to ensure minority students are equipped with the tools that will aid in their success.
