I really enjoy learning about new techniques in machine learning. I remember first learning about machine learning and being blown away by how computers can equal or surpass human performance in so many fields with only a few lines of code! As I started to learn more I developed a passion for understanding how the different architectures and math lead to such different results and really got involved in research during my graduate career as well as in my free time. Outside of my academics I am big sports fan. I played tennis in college but really enjoy basketball, football, golf, and just about any other sport as well. AI/ML is starting to make its way into all aspects of sports especially the more data-driven sports which is really cool to see.Project ideas

Machine Learning in Sports
First gain an understanding of how machine learning is used in sports and sport science today before attempting to implement new architectures and methods on available youtube data. Baseball has a fantastic array of data that can easily be used for projects and can teach web scraping skills as well as machine learning techniques.

I have been a computer science tutor mostly of beginner level students for the past year and a half. Most have been beginners in computer science but I also have experience in AI/ML teaching as one of my students is finishing a masters degree at Georgia Tech in AI/ML. I really enjoy teaching AI/ML and computer science in general as it can open so many doors and the possibility's with how to use ones skills are endless. I specialize in python but have experience teaching in C++, C and Java.Credentials
