Hii! My name is Samerah Roland and my project is on learning the information needed in order to become a therapist. I chose to work on this project because I had felt that there wasn't a website or a specfic place to go to recieve the basic information about the field of therapy. Usually, you would have to do a lot of google searches and research to learn about information that could be given to you in one guide, so I began to create a magazine guide that offered enough information to cover most questions about the field. I was able to gather information about many types of therapist, the education needed for them, and so much more. After I finish my project I would like to continue to share this information through social media so that I can help inspiring therapist gather the basic information about therapy.Projects

Abstract or project description
I wanted to focus on creating a descriptive magazine guide that helps people who are interested in therapy, learn and get the information they need in order to become a therapist of all types. Therefore, I created a guidebook/magazine with reliable sources and notes that I researched, so that those seeking information about therapy will have easier access. This guide will provide individuals with information about the education, the environment, and so much more. Each page would be filled with options you could take in order to build on your understanding of therapists and what they do. Some pages will include the different ways clients can receive therapy and others will define terms such as family therapy. Multiple pages mention the many licenses that you can receive along the way, the different counseling options, and many more. I created a guidebook to draw in an audience as well and make it more easier for those who want a simplistic guide to learn from. I have multiple sections that have pictures as well to give someone a visual of how mental health can feel or look like from an outside perspective. It is important to learn as much as you can about therapy when it has so much career paths and options to chose from. With this guide of information I hope it makes it easier for anyone who's looking into the field.
