Abstract or project description

The topic of this project is Leonardo da Vinci: the Scientist, the Inventor, the Artist. Israel is studying da Vinci's legacy and interrogating the perspectives da Vinci represents today. The study is holistic meaning that Israel is reading academic articles and also following da Vinci's lead in keeping a notebook/sketchbook to think through the ideas presented in his research. The final project will be a conceptual drawing that intersects the different facets of da Vinci as interpreted by Israel.
