Working title: leadership in providing medical agency: a contextual investigation of medical intervention efficacy.

Abstract or project description

The topic that Devu is working on is contextual efficacy of allopathy, modern medicine, and pharmaceutical interventions in treating ailments and diseases. This will be in presentation form and in a written paper. The working idea is for Devu to investigate the efficacy of something like tylenol, versus a common homeopathic remedy under contexts. Contexts include situations like work, relaxation capacity, sitting capcity, access to care like warming pads for swelling or joint pain. Further ideas include how leadership, and key historical aspects of effective and ineffective leadership or communication or messsaging impacts key factors required for allopathy or homeopathy to operate (either currently or in historical contexts or philosophically). One way to consider writing is in a particular debate style format could be interesting in terms of an anthropological primary paper.
