The Genetics, Endocrinology, and Neuroscience Education (GENE) Summer Research Experience offers high school students a unique opportunity to study the genetic basis of neuroendocrine regulation in gray treefrogs. Led by Dr. Christopher Leary, Dr. Lainy Day, and Dr. Susan Balenger in the Biology Department, the program spans June 26 to July 26, 2024. Participants can choose between a Field + Laboratory option, engaging in hands-on fieldwork and lab research, or a Lab-only option. Priority is given to Mississippi residents and diverse applicants.
