Summer Program for the Gifted and Talented is designed to provide diverse stimulating and highly challenging off-school learning opportunities for gifted students, and aims to help them explore and develop their talents and potential in an enriched learning environment. Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark is a single entity where sites and landscapes of international significance are managed under the holistic concept of protection, education and sustainable development, with the support of local communities and other stakeholders. The Geopark offers education programs such as Rock Classroom which comprises a workshop and a guided tour that aims to enrich knowledge about Hong Kong’s geology and promote geoconservation awareness, the School Seminar which introduce the geopark concept, and the geological, ecological and cultural aspects of Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark thus aims to deepen the knowledge of teachers and students about Hong Kong nature, and the Geopark Schools Programme that has a wide range of science popularisation activities to inspire student's long-term interest in earth sciences, integrated with ecology and culture, and to promote the concept of sustainable development.
