Students will be paired with a scientific mentor and tasked with developing a research project to present at the end of the summer. Participants will receive a stipend of $6,250 along with accommodations for room and board, as well as travel expenses.

In addition to learning fundamental data science theory from experienced Quinnipiac faculty, participants will have the opportunity to develop practical skills by working on hands-on data science projects. This course will advance students’ understanding of dynamical models and the concept of climate change through hands-on practices of building dynamical models and exploring physical principles driving climate change. In addition, this course will also advance students' computer literacy through introductions and exercises on writing Python code to solve and visualize simple dynamical models.

This immersive business development experience provides the tools and knowledge to help bring your future business ideas to life. This 2-week program allows high school students to either stay on campus during a fully residential overnight experience or visit us during the day as a commuter. Topics include website development, critical thinking, problem solving, project management, team dynamics, leadership, research and validation of ideas as well as an introduction to business planning using a lean business model canvas.

For students interested in theater and performing arts, the Yale School of Drama offers excellent summer programs to hone your skills in acting and directing. Applicants can choose between two workshops: the five-week-long Conservatory for Actors and the 10-Day Director's Workshop. In the Conservatory for Actors, students can develop their acting abilities through text analysis, delivery techniques, vocal production, scene study, and understanding how the various elements of a production come together. On the other hand, the Director's Workshop focuses on the technical aspects of theater, such as set design, voice, and stage management, while also providing opportunities to work with actors in rehearsal. Both workshops are led by experienced actors and directors.
