Bio
Hello! I love research! Specifically pediatric and women's health clinical research. I have a background in gynecology oncology bench research and pediatric cardiology. For the past two years, I've been leading cancer research in California. Currently, I am about to start my PhD in environmental health sciences where I'll focus on how air pollution effects lung health. In my free time, I go on hikes, make up new recipes in the kitchen, and volunteer at the botanical gardens.Project ideas
Can You Grow a Human Heart?
Regenerative medicine is an exciting field of research, especially with emerging stem cell therapies. You could do an in-depth literature review on emerging stem cell trials and present your findings in a podcast format, research paper, or video.
Public Health Communication
Pick your favorite public health topic! After doing an in-depth look now comes the communication part. An important part of public health is putting your findings into easy-to-understand materials. Create pamphlets, a video, or a short paper that clearly communicates important information in an easy-to-understand manner to the public.
How Genes Work
Pick a genetic condition, such as Danon disease, and learn about the symptomology, treatment options etc. Present your findings in a research paper.
