This is the first draft of project description.

Chinese people make extensive use of emoji in their social media communications. This study aims at identifying the different types of the pictograms, their semantics and their usage. This study focuses on a specific group of people on a Chinese platform, [placeholder], analyzing their use of emojis, building a model and developing a recommendation system to predict or to suggest emojis to fit a sentence into the way that the group this study is focusing uses. This study may also include the comparison between different implementations and determine whose accuracy is better.
