Abstract or project description

The goal of this project is to create an application that can identify misinformation in news articles, in addition to identifying a liberal/conservative bias and whether the article is an opinion article or not, with a possible website to accompany it. The program will use machine learning to be trained on a variety of pre-labeled articles to understand word choice among other variables in fake news. With this program, users could assess the reliability of an article before reading it, so that the spread of articles containing lies and deception is lessened.
