Abstract or project description

In my project, I will look at the concept of Sanctuary Cities in the Modern Context and see how we can improve them via a policy brief. I have several subquestions regarding the federal government's supremacy clause, and the responsibilities of agencies when it comes to immigration. The project will also explore immigration through the lenses of newly arrived immigrants, as travel to the US is at a net negative this year. Regardless of what people think, immigration is a highly contentious issue that must be addressed. Sanctuary Cities in urban areas serve as a great example between the power of local vs federal government powers.
