Abstract or project description
Tanish will be researching the similarities and differences between MBCT and traditional CBT. He is interested in understanding the mechanisms of change, or "active ingredients" that contribute to the efficacy of these two treatments. Because extant literature evidences similar outcomes between the two treatments, Tanish is interested in extracting common factors that providers can introduce/emphasize in their clinical practice.
