Abstract or project description

I am going to write a review paper about how deep-sea environments are affected by microplastic pollution. The paper is going to start off with an introduction where I will define microplastics, talk about their impacts on other known animals, introduce the deep sea, and state my research questions and objectives. I am then going to speak about microplastic transport processes, contamination of sediment by microplastics, microplastic effects on water quality, predicted effects on animals, and predicted outcomes of prolonged exposure to microplastics. The paper will conclude with a discussion tying each point together. This project will include an intense literature review about related topics.
