Hello! My name is Sripradha Manikantan and my Polygence project is on the effect of music learning and sports engagement for young children over the growth rate of cognitive skills like working memory and verbal comprehension. I chose to work on this project because of my passion toward music. After my project is complete, I would like share the results with more audience by taking it to science fair and other platforms related to scientific research.Projects

Abstract or project description
Sripradha is getting access to data from USC's Brain & Music lab. She will be working with a dataset collected across five years, examining the music learning on a population of students. She is interested in understanding the impact of this music learning on the psychology of participants. She will be working with behavioral data to look into these effects over time. She is interested in looking at the psychological impacts of music learning on these students.
