Optimal Workplace Program for Employees Impacted by Cancer

Abstract or project description
Sonya's project explores what an optimal workplace program for employees impacted by cancer could look like, and the various factors relevant to designing such a program. Survivor rates of those impacted by cancer have increased due to improvements in cancer research and treatments. As a result, many current or former cancer patients are active members of the workforce. Sonya will be researching what an optimal workplace program that provides both structured and flexible accommodations for employees impacted by cancer could look like.
