Abstract or project description

The airline industry is constantly on the move, and with intense competition in the market, flight prices have been surging these past few years after the COVID pandemic. Yet, even with the price increases, the airline passenger demand remains strong and airlines are seeing record profits post-pandemic. In fact, airlines have seen major passenger demand increases, even more than demand pre-pandemic. Why is airline passenger demand rising even though airlines have been drastically increasing prices? This review research paper will dive deeper into understanding how passenger demand works, and get a better understanding of the factors that have led to the increased demand even with price increases.
