Detection of Speech Developmental Delays using Machine Learning

Abstract or project description

We obtained a CHILDES dataset from Kaggle which contains audio features and speech and developmental delays. We will use data science libraries for completing this project, such as NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-Learn. We will test which speech features are the most salient for classifying speech delays. We will also test which machine learning models perform optimally. We will conduct further analyses afterwards to get the best AI model possible, and aim to publish the paper describing these analyses.
