The Evidence for Cannibinoids as a Treatment for Epilepsy

Abstract or project description
The student will perform a systematic review to assess the efficacy of cannabinoids as a treatment for epilepsy. He will design a PICO question which will guide his review. While there has been one similar systematic review before, it was published over five years ago, with the research rapidly developing since then. This project will leverage the student's passions for neuroscience and epilepsy. It will provide insight on the risks and benefits of treating epilepsy with an increasingly popular treatment option.
