CTAAC is associated with worse survival due to high metastatic rates and high TP53/KRAS mutations.
Started July 2, 2025
Abstract or project description
Description: Compare Met vs Primary AAC Subtype differences (MAAC will make up a higher % of mets) Gene mutation differences (Are there particular genes that are associated with mets?) Survival between both subtypes + mets Survival between gene mutation x mets (Are KRAS G12D mets survival worse than KRAS WT mets or KRAS G12D primary?) Mutational count? Mutation type? AMP vs HOMODEL? Fraction Genome altered?
(Current Hypothesis): CTAAC is associated with worse survival due to high metastatic rates and high TP53/KRAS mutations.

How do mutations affect the brain?
Started July 22, 2022
Abstract or project description
My project will be about DNA and mutations in the brain. I think I’ll be researching how mutations tend to occur in the cell process, the effects of it in DNA, and how mutations can alter different functions in the brain. I’ll also be researching various genetic brain disorders that people can have due to a mutation. How do mutations occur? What’s the process of a mutation affecting a body? What brain disorders happen because of mutations? What is being done to help with these brain disorders/diseases?
