Nina will be writing an 8-10 page research essay on World War I trauma, concentrating on Abel Gance's film J'accuse (1919) as her primary text. Her research will involve searching academic journal databases, selecting and summarizing the arguments of other scholars and critics, and incorporating their arguments within her own analysis.
