Project Portfolio

Longevity of 3D-printed resin dental crowns vs milled zirconia dental crowns

Started Feb. 11, 2022

Abstract or project description

Dental crowns is a common treatment for fractured and compromised teeth. The project will be comparing a well proven dental material and manufacturing technique (milled zirconia) vs newer technology in the field (3D printed resin) in the context of dental crowns. Natalie will be creating a systemic review to determine longevity based on factors we discussed (fracture resistance, ect). Natalie will create her own inclusion and exclusion criteria and choose the articles she deems appropriate. She will then present the results of the articles and discuss the findings.
