How does the level of intracellular oxygen affect the response of tumor and normal tissue in FLASH RT?

Abstract or project description
Megha will write a literature review on the role of oxygen on the FLASH effect. The contribution of oxygen towards the FLASH sparing effect is still hotly debated. She will have to draw her own conclusion and interpretations from seemingly conflicting studies (an important research skill!) For this project she will systematically review papers relevant to her research question and create an annotated bibliography that organizes the papers by oxygen level study, whether FLASH effect was observed, radiation dose used, and type of cells studied. She will then organize these studies to create a literature review that includes a background for this question, proposed mechanism of oxygen for FLASH effect, and a synthesis of pertinent studies' results.
