Abstract or project description

This project considers how media consumers can become more informed about the Israel-Palestine conflict. First, this project will describe how the prevalence of antisemitism has evolved and influenced how Jewish people were historically presented in the media. Based on this historical evidence, this project will argue that antisemitism continues to impact how Jewish people and Israel are treated by the media today. Further, it will argue that anti-Jewish sentiments in the media are impacting how the world perceives the Israel-Palestine conflict today. After providing examples of how media consumers can become more informed and challenge their own biases about this conflict, this project will detail how each side is presented, structured, and affected by their representation in the media
