Abstract or project description

This project examines heatwave risks in San Jose, current mitigation strategies, and potential improvements to reduce future impacts. It will analyze historical heatwave trends and policies using government data, reports, and research papers. Strategies from other cities will be evaluated for applicability to San Jose's context. Future heatwave risks will be analyzed using climate models and the Python programming language. The research will culminate in a clear research paper with visuals to highlight findings and recommendations.
