Abstract or project description

This project will be a review titled “Defining different brain regions involved in memory” (tentative title) that looks to analyze the role of molecular plasticity in the different aspects of memory, including the acquisition, consolidation, and retrieval of memory. One goal of the review is to synthesize data that looks at how different brain regions influence these different stages of memory. Moreover, we will discuss a potential for the applications of human memory manipulation and the ethical considerations of this process, as it becomes a real possibility in the near future.
