Abstract or project description

Jackson is working on a paper to look at synthetic materials as an alternative option to traditional graft methods for patients needing ligamentous repair. He is specifically looking at silk spider for its improved tensile strength and hydrogel properties. He is investigating how beneficial these grafts may be for high level athletes and to see if there is any possible added benefits that would compare to existing grafts currently.
