Abstract or project description

Hudson plans on gathering statistics in injury rates for American football players based on the playing field used. This review paper will focus on both different types of artificial turf and natural grass across high school, collegiate, and professional American football leagues. The goal of this project is to help easily provide safety information to players, coaches, and teams to help improve player safety and lower injury rates. This project also serves as a stepping stone for Hudson for future research project which could expand into investigating the type of equipment used as well as training/conditioning.
