Abstract or project description

The project will be a magazine article which focuses on the policies about people with learning disabilities. I will focus specifically on education and employment because they are crucial to the quality of one’s life. Singapore is located in Southeast Asia while the USA is located in North America, and they both have different governments, cultures, and systems. Therefore, their policies towards the people with disabilities will likely vary. The project will compare these policies and identify potential improvements these policies can take. It will begin with an anecdote to attract readers, along with statistics and visual graphs to better catch the readers’ attention.
