How Does AI Development in Businesses in Wealthy Countries Affect Business Policies in Developing Nations?

Started Feb. 3, 2026

Abstract or project description

As Artificial Intelligence (AI) rapidly advances in businesses in wealthy countries, its development increasingly influences business policies in developing nations. This paper analyzes AI governance to examine how AI innovation in high-income economies shapes business policies in developing countries through digital regulations, infrastructure development, and applications in business, education, and healthcare. AI can create both opportunities for growth and challenges as governments attempt to regulate emerging technologies while also leveraging them for economic growth, social development, and business operations. Ultimately, this review paper will provide insights into the benefits and challenges businesses in developing nations face when implementing AI.
