Literature review: Maternal mortality in women of color

Abstract or project description

The project topic is maternal mortality in women of color in the United States. The student still thinking about which target population the paper should focus on but she is lending on black American maternal health. The project is focused on a literature review in critiquing methods given three measures, first is to humanize the patient and the other two are still in process. The articles discuss methods to fight maternal mortality in women of color in the United States using the exclusions of only articles published within the last five years. At the end of the article, she going to give recommendations given those three measures to further discuss what is need to be done to address the high percentage of maternal mortality in women of color in the United States.
