How to read an ancient Greek text in its originality?

Abstract or project description

During this project, I will be doing an independent study of ancient Greek. With the help of my books and mentor, I will be able to read a Greek text in its originality by the end of the project. During each meeting, my mentor assigns me sections to read through and learn. These sections include grammar to learn, small stories to translate, exercises to complete, and handouts/slideshows from my mentor. Also, during meetings, my mentor answers questions and helps me understand concepts difficult to grasp. My final project is the completed translation Sophocles Antigone from its originality and a final assessment.
