Hi, I'm Emma! I live in Pleasanton, California and am a senior at Foothill High School. Some of my favorite classes are psychology, music, child growth, and human body systems. In my free time, I like to draw, read books, and play instruments. Some of the instruments I play include flute and piano. Case study: Social media usage and happiness in high school students during isolation period of summer 2020

Abstract or project description
Throughout the course of this research project, I will interview no more than 4 demographically similar peers (living in Pleasanton, going to Foothill High School) about the relationship between social media usage and the dominant emotions that they experienced during the summer of 2020. I will be writing a research paper that discusses the findings of the interviews along with a review of existing literature. I will potentially submit it for publication in a high school journal.
