Abstract or project description

Research question: For Japanese, how does passive learning via anime, live-action, and music affect vocabulary?

Methodology: The student is planning on doing a survey for understanding how anime, j-drama, music all affect vocabulary. They may also ask about language learning background, or focus on participants with a specific language background. The survey will include some kind of quantitative measure - such as vocabulary test, as well as quantitative measures of vocabulary comprehension.
