Abstract or project description

The project is to both simulate and create a control policy for multiple drones in an urban landscape. The project utilizes python and modern control techniques to handle tasks. These tasks include coordination, exploration, and resource sharing. Various complications will be added and used to explore optimal policies. The underlying system will use reinforcement learning to device optimal approaches to various scenarios. We chose this project because of the recent fires near Los Angeles in early 2025. Drones could have been helpful when dealing with the fire for tasks such as search and rescue but because of hazards they were not employed.
