Performance Improvements and Physiologic Effects of Training at Various Altitudes

Started July 18, 2024

Abstract or project description

Ben’s Polygence project explores the impact of altitude on athletic training and performance. He is investigating how varying levels of elevation affect physical conditioning, endurance, and recovery in athletes. The project aims to analyze both the physiological adaptations to high-altitude environments and the practical implications for training regimens. Ben is examining existing literature on altitude training, comparing results from different studies to draw conclusions. His goal is to provide insights that could help optimize training strategies for athletes who compete in or train at high altitudes.
