Abstract or project description

Ayaan is a talented, aspiring poet with tremendous potential. Over the course of his mentorship, Ayaan will read widely in the English literary tradition, using the study of accomplished poetry and poetics as a basis for his own creative pursuits. Ayaan's original poems will be gathered together in a manuscript of his own design.
