How does the COVID-19 virus impact individuals' brain health?

Abstract or project description
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected brain health through both viral infection and widespread societal disruption. While biological outcomes were a primary focus early in the pandemic, evidence now shows that SARS-COV-2 can impact individuals psychologically. This project investigates the biological and cognitive outcomes of COVID-19 infection along with its social implications. By analyzing studies on both infection-related and social outcomes, we aim to understand how the pandemic has shaped brain health and identify populations at risk for prevention.
