The Inevitable Demise of the Death Penalty - Op-Ed

Abstract or project description
The death penalty, fundamentally, is a system that goes against the Eighth Amendment. Over time, individual states have abolished it, but ideally so will the Supreme Court on the federal level. Not only are the conditions of death row downright horrible, but the system itself is incredibly flawed. Amanda has spent much time culminating an op-ed on how and why the death penalty must be abolished.
