Abstract or project description
This paper discusses the role of LDL cholesterol in the pathogenesis of aortic valve stenosis at the cellular level. It is focused on the role of reactive oxygen species and the oxidative stress they may cause on this pathway. The final objective is to elucidate this pathway in order to provide targets for preventative or therapeutic care. I have gone through multiple databases of scientific papers and has gathered over 30 papers to use for this literature review.
