Polygence's Symposium of Rising Scholars is an academic conference where students present and share their research with their peers and a panel of experts.
The Seventh Symposium was held virtually on Saturday, September 24th, 2022 from 8am PDT to 1pm PDT. Nearly 200 students presented their work live, while over 60 students presented asynchronously.

Founded in June 2020, the Symposium’s mission is to give students a taste of conference presentations, academic networking, and a chance to meet some of their fields’ finest scholars.
Our Fifth Symposium in September 2021 attracted nearly 600 attendees and featured 120 students presenting on topics ranging from biology to sport analytics to art history. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Margot Gerritsen, Data Science Professor at Stanford University. There were also a handful of panel discussion on topics such as college admissions and internships.
