Bio

Hi, I'm Jessica. My undergraduate degree is in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. I have experience in prototyping and product design, especially in the intersection between hardware and software products. I worked as a technology consultant for large tech companies in Boston before moving to Chicago to pursue my MBA in business strategy and management. I current work as a software engineer - developing websites and applications! I enjoy tinkering and rapid prototyping to create fun personal projects - such as a dancing robot. I also enjoy pondering about economic policy and we can do to promote positive social impact. I'd love to mentor students who are curious and would like to create a technology-driven product together!

Self-Serving Boba Machine!

Want to impress your friends this summer and serve them a cook drink? Let's build a self-serving boba machine. Taking a simple microcontroller, can we make a rough prototype of a device that can combine all the ingredients in the right proportion to serve the best tasting boba ever? I don't know but let's try it!

Build a personal website completely form scratch, using Javascript, Html, Css, and React. We can also leverage Python and Sql for more complex websites that can store and process data.

I was a teaching assistant for robotics, material science and mechanical engineering for the MIT Office of Engineering Outreach for the past 3 years. The program was for local middle school and high school students to get exposure to STEM subjects.
