Bio

I am currently acquiring my PhD at Washington University in St Louis in Neuroscience researching biomarkers in mental health utilizing functional MRI and computational models with Dr. Janine Bijsterbosch. I am also president of the graduate science policy and science communication organization ProSPER. My interest in research was launched in high school where I had an opportunity to work with neuroscience researchers. I hope to provide a similar experience to high schoolers today!

Science Communication/Policy Blog

In this project, you will determine a scientific field of study to research and write a science communication article that can be published to Washington University's ProSPER blog. For those interested in the intersection of science and policy, you can also write a science policy memo to be published.

Teaching experience

I have tutored biology, mathematics, and English for the high school level. as well as taught neuroscience to 4th graders! I have also served as TA for an undergraduate neurophysiology lab where we guided them through their own experiment and manuscript.
